Data Broker and Data Practices Notice
This page explains how LeadDiligence approaches public business data, data broker-style obligations, and consumer/business contact requests.
1. Purpose of this notice
LeadDiligence researches publicly available business information and provides B2B account intelligence to clients. Some US state laws regulate ?data brokers? or businesses that sell or license personal information collected from sources other than the individual. Applicability depends on each law?s definitions, thresholds, exemptions, and business model.
2. Categories of data involved
LeadDiligence lead records may include business contact and company-level information such as name, work email, work phone, job title, company, company website, business location, category, industry, public source links, and notes about company relevance.
3. Sources
Sources may include company websites, public directories, archived public web pages, public business profiles, search results, and other publicly available business sources.
4. How records are delivered
Records are delivered to clients through a private portal or export for B2B sales, marketing, and account research. LeadDiligence does not provide data for consumer credit, insurance eligibility, employment eligibility, housing eligibility, or similar regulated eligibility decisions.
5. Sensitive data
LeadDiligence is not designed to collect or sell sensitive consumer information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise consumer geolocation, health data, children?s data, or consumer credit eligibility data.
6. Registration and compliance review
Before scaling commercial operations, LeadDiligence should review whether data broker registration or reporting is required in states such as California, Texas, Oregon, Vermont, or any other state with applicable data broker or privacy laws. This page is not a substitute for registration if registration is required.
7. Consumer and business contact requests
People may request access, correction, deletion/removal, suppression, or opt-out through the pages linked below. We may retain limited suppression data and blacklist entries to honor requests and prevent re-adding removed information.
