Privacy Policy

This policy explains how LeadDiligence collects, uses, discloses, and protects business information, website visitor information, client portal data, and contact information contained in researched lead records.

1. Who we are

LeadDiligence provides B2B lead intelligence services. We research publicly available business information and organize it into account records for clients that sell into specific business markets.

2. Information we collect

  • Website visitor information: IP address, browser information, pages viewed, form submissions, and cookie or analytics information if analytics tools are enabled.
  • Client and prospect information: name, company, work email, website, target customer type, geography, requested lead volume, notes, billing or commercial relationship details, and portal account data.
  • Business lead information: company name, domain, website URL, category, industry, location, company description, proof URLs, public business contacts, job titles, work emails, work phone numbers, notes, and relevance indicators.
  • Portal usage information: login activity, assigned leads, statuses, exports, and actions taken inside the portal.
  • Removal and opt-out information: email, domain/company name, request type, request notes, verification details, request status, and communications about the request.

3. Sources of information

We may collect information directly from website visitors, clients, and form submissions. We may also collect business information from company websites, public directories, public web pages, search results, archived web pages, public business profiles, and other publicly available business sources.

4. How we use information

  • To provide B2B lead research, enrichment, and account intelligence services.
  • To create, verify, organize, and deliver lead records through the portal.
  • To manage client accounts, portal access, requests, support, billing, and service delivery.
  • To respond to sample requests, legal requests, removal requests, opt-out requests, and support messages.
  • To improve website performance, product quality, security, and fraud prevention.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to clients as part of researched B2B lead records, to service providers that help operate the website and portal, to professional advisers, to authorities where legally required, and to parties involved in a business transfer if applicable. We do not sell consumer financial, health, children’s, or other sensitive personal information as part of this service.

6. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

Some US privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly. Because LeadDiligence provides lead information to clients for business use, certain disclosures may be treated as a sale or sharing of personal information under some laws. You may submit an opt-out request through the Do Not Sell or Share page.

7. Your privacy choices

  • Access: request information about records associated with your business contact details.
  • Correction: request correction of inaccurate business contact data.
  • Deletion/removal: request removal from LeadDiligence records where legally required or operationally reasonable.
  • Suppression: request that your work email/domain is suppressed from future delivery.
  • Opt out of sale/share: request that your personal information is not sold or shared where applicable law gives you that right.

8. How to submit a request

Use the Data Removal Request or Do Not Sell or Share page. Matched requests can enter a 7-day review queue before removal. Verification should be proportionate to the request and may include confirming control over the submitted work email or company domain.

9. Data retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide services, maintain suppression lists, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records. Suppression records and blacklist entries may be retained to prevent re-adding removed information.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

LeadDiligence is a B2B service and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
